Climate Change Power Map – Congressional Committees
The power maps below are tools aimed at illustrating the House and Senate committees and sub-committees in the U.S. Congress that are considering climate change legislation. In the beginning of 2009, the maps will be updated as the new Congress reorganizes. For now, the maps and identify committees and subcommittees that have been playing some role in climate policy either by holding hearings or sponsoring legislation.
The headings link to PDFs which include links to committee and subcommittee web pages. The descriptions relate aspects of the committee or sub-committee’s jurisdiction to climate change and rural communities.
